    · Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans for new and existing publications, sections and promotions.

    · Manage marketing budget, including all company trades and event and departmental expenses

    · Assist sales reps with selling of event sponsorship packages as needed, including maintaining those relationships and ensuring proper communication before and after event

    · Support sales team by writing all sales materials and media kits content

    · Work closely with the company’s Sales team; enabling them to meet their goals by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations and by soliciting their input.

    · Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities including print, digital and social media communications.

    · Plan, Create and Execute all sales mailings in partnership with associate publisher, to ensure timely delivery of sales messaging to prospective advertisers to maximize revenue.

    · Plans and executes all special events for the magazine, including vendor logistics and negotiation, guest list management, trade paperwork, budget management, sponsor communications, and related promotion in print. Coordinates and prepares all day-of logistics and elements for special events, including signage, nametags, gift bags, presentations and giveaways.

    · Maximize, Maintain and Develop relationships with local media, advertising partnerships, community and nonprofit partners (existing and new).

    · Write monthly radio and television spots promoting the issue or upcoming event as appropriate. Negotiate and manage reciprocal trades with media

    · Oversee and maintain brand messaging throughout all materials, all communication sponsorships and events

    · Responsible for certain monthly departments of the magazine, including RIPEC calendar, RI Scene page, and other house promotions

    · Oversee the implementation of the marketing strategy and timetable for all including campaigns, events and PR.

    · Handle outside inquiries for donations and coverage as warranted.

    · College degree required, related experience, strong administrative and organizational skills, ability to work flexible schedule to accommodate house events and activities.

    · Supervise the marketing assistant and marketing intern.

    · Salary commensurate with experience.
