Custom Design Sales Specialist (Full-time, On-site, Sundays off) Are you seeking a career where you can utilize your creative talents to help others design a unique piece of jewelry or repurpose a treasured heirloom? We believe in a hands-on, informative experience for our guest consultations, and encourage an educational approach to custom design. A strong candidate for this role will be a people person who is motivated by providing an excellent guest experience and is solutions-oriented while using creative and critical thinking skills. This is a client-facing role that involves working with customers, team members, designers and in-house goldsmiths. This is a full-time position with a scheduled week-day off, Saturday hours required with one off per month, we are closed Sundays. Responsibilities: • Provide the customer with a warm and inviting design experience that exceeds their every expectation • Demonstrate a sophisticated, high-energy, driven, entrepreneurial personality with the ability to consistently close sales • Use of creativity to apply unique aspects to jewelry design while applying problem-solving and collaborative skills to develop solutions to jewelry construction challenges • Produce sketches of designs and concepts of fine jewelry based on customer requests and requirements • Create technical diagrams in Photoshop illustrating the construction of jewelry styles and components • Participate in the editing process for technical specification documents with the design team and cross-functional partners prior to handoff to ensure the highest level of accuracy • Track and monitor custom design projects from inception to customer delivery • Assists with a variety of daily tasks and team projects • ·Ensures accuracy and consistency on all orders Qualifications: • Three or more years of experience in client-focused sales • Passion and enthusiasm for fine jewelry • Knowledge of fine jewelry composition including gemstones, diamonds, and metals • Excellent comprehension and implementation of sales methods and procedures • Accurate, personable and eloquent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to price custom rings based on a pricing algorithm • Ability to collaborate and follow through as a valuable team member • Knowledge of current fashion, jewelry, and design trends • Professionalism is a must, as our clientele base consists of top professionals in the Central MN Area and beyond • A self‐motivated individual who is looking to enjoy their job and work in a fun, family-oriented atmosphere • GIA education is not required but encouraged Compensation: $40,000 - $60,000+
