Job Description

DipJar is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join its growing Product and Engineering team. The Full Stack Developer will work with other members of the cross functional product team, and will be a key contributor to the next generation DipJar platform. The next generation DipJar platform will incorporate new hardware and software features and functionality that will work together to create more giving moments. The ideal candidate has strong frontend and backend skills to:

• Architect and build the next generation DipJar Platform using technologies such as Javascript, Node and React

• Develop and release functional code in a cross functional team using Lean and Agile software methodologies

• Integrate various third-party platforms, data sources and libraries into bespoke applications

APPLICANTS SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar technical background

• 2-4+ years of front and backend web application experience

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap

• Experience developing applications using vanilla Javascript and popular frameworks or libraries (e.g. React, Angular, Vue.js)

• The ability to work with a variety of programming and database languages and coding patterns

• Familiarity with Node.js, Express and PostgreSQL

• Familiarity with Unit testing - experience with Test Driven Development is a plus.

• Interest in setting up and using DevOps pipelines
