Overview

Carolina Conduit System is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic for our GARNER LOCATION with a strong background in heavy equipment and diesel engines. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years of hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered equipment. This role requires computer and diagnostic software skills, as well as the ability to efficiently update workflows and repair documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and software
• Complete work orders and update repair workflows using technology
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability
• Collaborate with the team to ensure repairs are completed safely and on time

Requirements

• Experience with automotive diagnostics and repair techniques for heavy equipment operation, including tractors, cranes, excavators, and farm machinery.
• Familiarity with schematics related to diesel engines and industrial equipment.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Minimum 1 years of experience in diesel engine and heavy equipment repair
• Proficiency in diagnostic software and computer-based repair systems
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
