20-attorney insurance defense litigation firm is looking for experienced TEXAS First Party Property ** Litigation Attorneys (First Party Property DEFENSE experience REQUIRED)** to join their KINGWOOD, TX team.
Should have substantial experience with FLORIDA First Party Property cases. We handle the defense of homeowner's claims for very reputable insurance carriers in TX, including hurricane, storm, wind, water, fire, roofing, pipes, and other severe damage to residential and commercial properties.
** IDEAL Candidates have 2+ years experience in TX First Party Property Insurance Defense
DUTIES**: reviewing and analyzing new files from assignment by the adjuster, preparing an initial status report summarizing liability / damages and exposure, drafting pleadings, motions, issuing written discovery, answering discovery, taking and defending fact and expert witness depositions, arguing motions, attending court hearings, mediations, trials,and regularly preparing comprehensive status reports to the clients. Should have experience with expert witness depositions and preparing for same.
