    Job Description

    Small boutique civil litigation law firm in downtown FT. LAUDERDALE is seeking to hire an experienced, professional Law Firm Administrator/Office Manager. Our firm focuses in consumer protection litigation and civil rights.

    CANDIDATE MUST HAVE AT LEAST THREE (3+) YEARS OF LAW FIRM OFFICE MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.

    This position will support CEO/Attorney of the law firm. Duties and responsibilities will include strong leadership and managerial skills, administrative and some light human resource responsibilities, hiring & terminations, AP/AR, strong vendor relationships, maintain personnel records, preparing offer letters, coordinating interviews, maintaining staff calendars, outsourcing criminal background checks, managing client trust accounts, collection of settlement checks, ordering office supplies, bank runs, and other administrative duties. This is litigation firm so you should be experienced in dealing with the unforeseen-yet-expected "day to day problems" that arise in the legal world!

    THIS IS A FULL-TIME POSITION WORKING IN THE OFFICE. SOME LIMITED HYBRID WORK MAY BE PERMITTED AFTER A TRIAL PERIOD WHERE WE GET TO KNOW YOU AND TRUST YOUR WORK.

    Candidate must have very strong interpersonal skills to work with professional attorneys, staff members, opposing counsel and dealing with outside vendors & clients.
