Our firm is a high-end, boutique corporate law firm located in the Chicago Loop. The Real Estate Practice Group is seeking to add a COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY to our growing team. SHOULD HAVE 4 TO 8 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE LAW IN ILLINOIS.

MUST HAVE: 4-8 YEARS of transactional experience in commercial real estate and/or commercial lending law.

MUST BE CURRENTLY ADMITTED TO PRACTICE IN IL.

IDEAL CANDIDATES: should have experience with commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions, development work and leasing work and/or experience representing banks and other lenders in real estate secured and asset based lending transactions. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience handling the acquisition, financing, leasing and selling of retail, commercial, industrial and multi-unit residential property. Experience with section 1031 exchanges and representing institutional lenders in real estate and asset-based lending preferable. Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail as well as an ability to work independently and take full responsibility for transactions is a must.
