SAN FRANCISCO: (HYBRID) HEALTHCARE INVESTMENT BANKING ASSOCIATE
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Provide transaction support to senior bankers on a broad range of corporate finance transactions including IPOs, secondary offerings, private placements, mergers & acquisitions
Plan, structure and execute financing transactions in the public and private markets
Financial analysis and modeling; conduct industry and market research
Assist in preparation of company marketing and transactions materials; prepare client presentations; perform due diligence
Analyze financial statements, review and assess business plans, and manage day-to-day contact with clients and related parties
Advising corporations on mergers and acquisitions
Interact with clients during presentations and deal executions
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University, preferably in Economics, Business, Accounting or related field
MBA preferred
Minimum 2 years of investment banking experience preferred
Current FINRA Series 79, 63 licenses highly preferred
Advanced quantitative and analytical skills, ideally with understanding of valuation techniques
Well-versed in corporate finance, accounting principles, financial statement analysis and financial modeling
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication (verbal and written, internal and client-facing) and presentation skills
Highly organized and able to multi-task; manage multiple projects and competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy or efficiency
BASE SALARY $125-150K, some travel (up to 20%) required
