    POSITION SUMMARY:

    As a Financial Administrator at DLR Group you will provide guidance and support to the Region related to finance and accounting. This position involves both traditional accounting functions as well as a strong business management acumen. You will be pro-actively applying any lessons learned and analytics to help ensure our future financial success.

    You will be a key member of the financial team, with responsibility for providing overall financial support to daily operations and proactive strategies and support for our project teams.

    THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:

    • Set up all initial contract fee information and provide ongoing maintenance to ensure accurate project information throughout the life of the projects.
    • Support the Financial team on monthly invoicing cycle, determining percent complete, and coordinate billing and collections with client counterparts.
    • Take the lead on the preparation of our monthly project revenue projections.
    • Coordinate with consultants, process invoices for payment, and follow-up on related matters.
    • Assist multiple Project Managers and staff, on a daily basis, with all project financial matters.
    • Be required to work in a fast paced, multi-task environment.
    • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
    • Ensure Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions of the office are current.
    • Review contracts to fully comply with contractual terms.
    • Coordinate Certificate of Insurances.
    • Perform ad-hoc financial reconciliations.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 5-10 years project job cost accounting experience.
    • Proactive, independent thinker possessing a high attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred; will consider a combination of experience and education.
    • Experience using Deltek Vision software.
    • Experience in architecture, engineering, or construction (A/E/C) industry.
