We are currently seeking WATERBORNE SECURITY INSTRUCTORS. Waterborne Security Instructors will perform classroom and field laboratory support for high-risk training evolutions for the US Navy.
Waterborne Security Instructors deliver training in support of the tactical operation of small boats which include:
Waterborne Security Instructors must:
Be a US Citizen.
Obtain a suitable evaluation for mandatory medical, psychological, and drug screenings.
Possess military small boat operator experience; (Prior US Army, US Navy, US Marine Corps, or US Coast Guard qualifications are required).
Qualify as a Swimmer, Second Class in accordance with the Navy Swimming and Water Survival Instructor's Manual (NETC P1552/16).
Possess one (or more) of the basic instructor qualifications as listed below:
Possess or be capable of possessing a SECRET security clearance.
Possess an active state driver's license.
Possess Navy NEC 0814 (Crew Served Weapons Instructor) credential, or be a graduate of Crew Served Weapons Instructor (CSWI) Course (A-830-2215), or satisfy one of the CSWI equivalency requirements as set forth in OPNAVINST 3591.1F.
Be able to complete the applicable Personnel Qualification Standards (PQS) for Line Coach (Crew Served Weapons) as contained in the Security Force Weapons PQS (NAVEDTRA 43466-C), and be designated in writing by the respective CENSECFOR Range Safety Officer (RSO) within 90 days of reporting for duty.
Possess current qualification with the type of weapons and courses of fire that they instruct.
