    JOB DESCRIPTION

    DMS is seeking a Communications Specialist to work with the corporate office to push the company forward. The Communications Specialist will be responsible for developing a strategic communication plan for DMS to disseminate information regarding DMS International through its website and social media. The specialist will be tasked to draft content and maintain relevancy of the company's image and analyze online data to understand current marketing trends to enhance corporate influence. The specialist will incorporate company objectives, promotional policies and needs of organizations to develop public relations strategies that will influence public opinion or promote ideas, products, and services. The ideal candidate should be capable of researching and creating fresh materials for thought leadership and identifying main client groups and audiences to determine the best ways to reach and influence them. The Communications Specialist will participate in the department's overall annual and long-term goals and objectives.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Demonstrate strategic insights to develop long-term execution plans based on corporate goals and business objectives to effectively implement those plans
    • Employ research techniques to monitor and analyze latest trends in social media, including advertising format, channels and technologies in order to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations on methods to best leverage new tools and services
    • Define and identify important social media Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and compile data across several social media platforms through the use of Google Analytics and Moz to generate weekly/monthly reports, including analysis for insights, optimizations and future strategy development
    • Display organizational capabilities to track progress, execution, consistency, and effectiveness of social advertising campaign
    • Define new media marketing project scope, estimate and write scope of works and technical specifications, and identify potential opportunities and threats
    • Develop paid and non-paid social media content strategies­­­—media content, editorial plans and realistic timetables—to help grow corporate business through a variety of online and social channels
    • Facilitate and manage forecasting, budgeting and pacing, campaign creation and optimization through social media operations
    • Design and modify corporate website navigation structure, layout, and features utilizing web design tools and platforms such as WordPress and Wix to improve website user experience
    • Prepare and disseminate information through website, social media, newsletter, mass emails, inquiry responses, blog posts and videos to manage internal and external marketing efforts
    • Research, compare and recommend marketing tools to deliver competitive site analysis and benchmarking in content breadth, organization and presentation, and enhance Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies
    • Employ technologies and methodologies in graphic design, multimedia design, video production and content management through demonstrated expertise in use of Adobe Creative Suite to improve user experience and strengthen corporate brand image
    • Design and implement Corporate Social Responsibility Programs—Employee Volunteer Program, Internship Program, and Green Initiatives—to enhance corporate brand image and encourage employee engagement

    EDUCATION

    • A Bachelor's degree in Communications or an equivalent field from an accredited U.S. university is required

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Proficiency in managing multiple social media platforms and demands excellent analytical skills
    • Experience with digital communications and content production tools (media databases and news wire services, content management systems, data analytics, social media platforms, and email marketing platforms, etc.)
    • Expertise in social advertising campaign management and optimization practices across Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram
    • Well-developed ability to extract insights from data and make future marketing strategy plans across multiple marketing mediums; Experience with Google Analytics and Google AdWords is highly desired
    • Practical knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics, good understanding of social media KPIs
    • Experience with web design tools and creative tools including WordPress, Wix and skilled in manipulating various sorts of visual media through Adobe Creative Suite
