SUMMARY
DMS International is looking for an experienced part-time PROPOSAL/TECHNICAL WRITER to join our team in Silver Spring, Maryland. The Technical Writer is mainly responsible for coordinating, managing, writing and developing compliant, complete and compelling, proposals to capture new business opportunities, focused primarily on federal contracts. The ideal candidate should be a highly-skilled and effective written and oral communicator. Special effort will be given to ensure that all RFP requirements and instructions are carefully met in all documents and that all proposal criteria is captured.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from a regionally accredited college or university
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically WORD and EXCEL • SharePoint
• Minimum of five years of prior experience preparing written proposals and management documents of a technical nature is expected • Prior knowledge of U.S. Government contracting processes is preferred but not required • Candidate should have a strong portfolio of captured targeted projects • Experience in a learning environment preferred
