    We are looking for a FIELD SERVICE MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR/ENGINEER with a mechanical engineering background, preferably in the (bio)gas industry. You would work with our dedicated team of servicing and commissioning engineers bringing clean gas to our clients.

    WHAT YOU DO:

    You have a dual role. In the office you generate and organize the work plan for each onsite maintenance service call providing the scope of work to be done, any special issues to be addressed as well as the scheduled maintenance needed per the contract, and provide the timeline framework for the work including travel and site work time. On the job site, are responsible for the timely and correct execution of preventive and corrective maintenance being done by our service engineers and our service partners for our field projects. Overall, you put your experience as a process or mechanical engineer to use along with your excellent ability to pay attention to details using your organizational skills.

    WHAT WE EXPECT:

    • You coordinate outsourced work and service contracts, with partners/subcontractors to ensure continuity of workflow for onsite visits.
    • You read and understand the service offers and service agreements and work out scheduling needs, keeping the Service Manager aware of deadlines, and contract needs.
    • You prepare and execute on work specifications/checklist and evaluation of the work site maintenance needs to support the onsite service staff
    • You select parts and equipment, including alternatives, request quotes, purchase materials, equipment and schedule the work when preparing a service trip or a request for spare parts from a client.
    • You will maintain and manage technical files such as operation/maintenance manuals and register as maintained information in our ERP system ensuring ISAH reports and messages are kept up to allow for efficient management of contracts and service trips.
    • You will improve quality, develop new services and generate additional service propositions by identifying places for increased profitability, for approval, within written proposals to the Service Manager who has requested materials from customers/clients and the equipment needed on site. Upon approval of the written proposal, you begin scheduling the project.
    • You work closely and cross functionally within your team, with other DMT-CGS teams, suppliers, customers and service partners using your communication skills, both verbal and written, using the agreed upon and established communication and workflow tools.
    • You either execute the service on site or offer technical support to our onsite team so timely completion of the work is assured.
    • During on site services you manage your own work, that of our subcontractors and our client in close cooperation with our own team.
    • You travel a minimum of 20 – 30% of the time providing field service work as needed by the team.

    YOU BRING:

    • Bachelor/Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, or equal experience;
    • Broad experience in a similar role; experience with process installations and (explosive) gasses.
    • Familiar with ASME, pressure vessels (U-stamp) and zoning of hazardous area’s (C1D1 and CiD2);
    • Experienced and able to work with ERP systems, MS office, SCADA /PLC systems;
    • At least 3 years of field experience
    • Skilled in interpreting P&ID’s, electrical schemes and control philosophy’s;
    • Strong coordination experience which includes detailed planning, organizing and documenting (result driven)
    • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal with a good command of English; Spanish and Dutch are a plus
    • Analytical, result and solution orientation to all your work;
