DND Groups is looking for a skilled HR Generalist who will provide HR support and develop talent through the management of HR process, policies and programs. As the primary HR contact the and collaborate closely with Payroll and Recruiting in building a centralized HR function in a fast-growing franchise restaurant group. You must be a skilled relationship builder with experience in performing HR generalist functions in a multi-state work environment. This role will be a HR partner to operations management and identify opportunities to ensure all organizational HR practices are efficient, and scalable for sustainable growth.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the development and implementation of HR programs, systems, and processes.
    • Partner with Finance and Operations on the optimization of the newly implemented HRIS.
    • Maintain employee records and documentation spanning across the full employee life cycle, according to policy and legal requirements.
    • Administer benefits and compensation programs, working closely with benefits broker on improving the enrollment employee experience.
    • Consistently review and monitor employment and working conditions to ensure legal and regulatory compliance and employee feedback to nurture the employee culture.
    • Facilitation of training on HR topics and Leadership development.
    • Partner with Recruiter with the development of efficient and effective recruiting, lead generation and hiring practices.
    • Management and implementation of an effective onboarding and offboarding process.
    • Oversee employee labor and HR federal laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
    • Develop career development paths and partner closely with Training and Operations Management on growing talent from within.
    • Other duties as requested by management.

    Experience and Knowledge

    • Bachelor's degree or related work experience
    • HR Certification, SHRM-PC or PHR highly preferred
    • 5 + years of experience working in the human resources profession.
    • Proven experience as a HR Generalist or a hands-on HR Manager working across the HR function.
    • Experience working with a franchise group preferred.
    • Working knowledge of core HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
    • Experience in HR within a multi-state national workforce with a high hourly employee population
    • Understanding of labor and regulatory compliance laws
    • Proficient in MS Office; experience with ADP Workforce Now

    • Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
