    As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you will load and unload packages into a 26’ DOT box truck at our warehouse in Carteret, NJ. You will then transport these packages daily to our Walker Couriers in a designated area in Manhattan, NY. You will end your day at the warehouse. This position requires individuals who are highly dependable, have a strong work ethic, and are able to work overnight shifts.

    Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

    • Load and unload delivery vehicles with packages to be delivered
    • Drive safely, following GPS coordinated route, following all traffic laws
    • Deliver products to customers in a professional and courteous manner
    • Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
    • Report any issues or problems to management immediately
    • Safely operate a 26' DOT box truck.
    • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of parcels from our warehouse to a designated location in Manhattan.
    • Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle mileage, and cargo information.
    • Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
    • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.
    • Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or violations promptly.
    • Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel and walking couriers to coordinate pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    As a Delivery Driver, You’ll Need:

    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
    • Ability to lift and carry heavy packages
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Valid New Jersey Driver's License.
    • DOT certification and a valid DOT Medical Examiners Certificate (MEC).
      • Note: We offer DOT certification through our partner for interested candidates.
    • Clean driving record with no recent violations or accidents.
    • Successfully pass background check and pre-employment drug test.
    • Experience operating a 26' Foot DOT Box Truck is preferred but not required.
    • Ability to work day-shifts and adapt to a flexible schedule.
    • Full-time availability preferred.
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
    • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
