    Job Overview:

    The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is seeking a Product Specialist 2 (PS2) to support the Asset Management Team within the Department of Information Technology. This onsite role is responsible for tracking, updating, and managing IT desktop and network assets.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Update asset management meta-data accurately

    Add newly acquired IT assets into the system

    Reassign assets based on ServiceNow incident tickets

    Coordinate and organize disposal of outdated computer and networking equipment

    Append asset tags to new equipment

    Generate reports from the asset management system for biennium reconciliation

    Provide mobile AV support

    Unpackage and move equipment as needed

    Maintain an organized work area

    Follow quality standards and complete assigned tasks

    Provide accurate status updates

    Work effectively in a team environment

    Required Skills & Experience:

    4+ years of experience in IT Asset Management

    Experience updating asset meta-data

    Experience with ServiceNow ticket-based asset reassignment

    Experience coordinating equipment disposal

    Experience tagging and tracking IT assets

    Reporting experience from asset management systems

    Mobile AV support experience

    Ability to handle equipment movement and setup

    Strong analytical, customer service, and communication skills

    Mandatory Requirements:

    Must be local to Ohio

    Must be willing to attend onsite interviews

    Must agree to fingerprint/background check

    Must comply with government equipment usage policy (no equipment outside the U.S.)
