Job Summary:
We are seeking leaders with a documented history of driving top line sales, building successful sales teams and opening new markets. Our sales leaders are not just administrators but are dynamic members of the booking team with a history of creating an employer of choice culture for our associates. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Director of Sales in a limited service hotel with exposure to National brands being a positive. Part-time hours available varying from 24-40 hours per week depending on the season.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with management and operations department
Develop and design attractive offers and packages for guests, travel agents and corporate clients
Manage smooth and effective Sales operations
Prepare contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and price conditions
Monitor offers, options and discounts for repeat bookings for groups, conferences and seminars in close cooperation with the revenue manager
Survey, review and analyze competition, market trends, customer needs and comments in order to develop new plans and programs to determine the potency of current plans and programs for Transient, Group and Corporate travel
Qualifications:
Outgoing, energetic personality
1 - 3 years of sales experience
Ability to take the initiative on projects
Good organization skills and an eye for detail
Reliable with excellent time management
