The Candy Inspector is responsible for the quality of candy that goes into the metal bin to be packaged, check film, check shape, check seal, check for debris on candy, check sticks, check color and flavor.

• Check all candy coming up conveyor
• Check and make sure candy has correct film
• Check for foreign objects in candy and scape candy that does not meet quality requirements
• Check the seal of wrapper on candy and scrap any candy that is unsealed
• Check and make sure the sticks are being used for the Lolli pops being produced
• Check size and shape
• Check the twist on wrapped caramel and taffy to make sure it is tight and not ripped
• Sweep floors
• Mop floors with approved cleaner mixed per bottles instructions
• Fill out cleaning logs
• Weigh out scrap and record on scrap log
• Tidy up production area and remove any debris at end of shift
• Other duties as needed
