    Job Description

    The Vice President of Sales is responsible for working to improve client market position through building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals and maintaining extensive knowledge of the market conditions. This position works in a senior sales position and is also involved in working with the executive management to define the sales strategy. This role also works with the internal operations teams to ensure a successful transition of the client relationship and will continue to manage client relationships post sales to ensure clients remain satisfied and positive.

    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: • Prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, or other means to generate interest from potential clients • Develop tactics, approaches, and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with Santé • Participate in pricing of solutions and services • Meet or exceed targeted sales objectives • Grow and retain existing clients by presenting new solutions and services to clients • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs • Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed with Salesforce • Work with Santé Operations staff to ensure successful transition of clients post sale • Understand company’s goals and purpose to continue to enhance Santé performance • Develop and implement overall marketing strategy, including positioning, branding, and mission/vision • Develop and implement lead generation email and call campaigns • Develop new sales presentation materials • Complete Requests for Proposal and Requests for Information • Work with contract marketing function to create sales and marketing collateral, including eBooks, sales brochures, newsletters, email campaigns, blog posts, and social media posts • Work with contract marketing function to implement website enhancements • Plan, develop, and implement webinars • Plan, develop, and implement trade show strategies • Develop and implement key sales strategies including territory alignment, prospecting, and pipeline management • Administer Marketing Automation and CRM software and train team on its use • Develop and refine the buying process, including materials and scripts for the introductory meeting, detailed technical/services reviews, and proposals • Call on prospective customers to secure introductory meetings • Conduct introductory and detailed technical/services review meetings • Actively manage a pipeline of prospective customers • Actively manage a pipeline of potential channel partners • Recruit for open sales and marketing positions
