Job Description

We are looking for a passionate, energetic, and friendly PHOTOGRAPHER who is interested in capturing a live dance competition!

EXPENSES COVERED INCLUDE: Hotel, gas, food or per diem

POSITION LOCATION: Mobile, AL

POSITION DATES: March 29th-31st

SALARY: $20/hour

WE ARE LOOKING FOR FRIENDLY PROFESSIONALS WHO WILL:

• Work as part of a team alongside our Videographers and Event Supervisors
• Photograph key moments throughout each dance

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS AND EQUIPMENT:

• University or College degree completed or in progress (related degree is considered an asset)
• 2 years of related experience preferred but not required
• Able to work long days (competitions can run 12+ hours in a day)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to/from event venue 
• Experience photographing dance, theatre, concerts, or sporting events is an asset

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS:

• Professional Digital SLR Camera (Nikon D300S, D500, D750, D810, D850, D4(S), D5, Canon 7D (MK II), 6D (MK II), 5D (MK III or IV), 1D X (MK II) or comparable)
• 70-200 mm f/2.8 lens and 24-70mm f/2.8 lens
• Tripod or monopod (suggested)
• 2 x 32 GB CF or SD Cards (minimum)
