COORDINATOR INTRAMURAL SPORTS AND RECREATION

 Part Time, 9 months

START DATE AUGUST 15

POSITION SUMMARY: Develop, organize and administer the Intramural Sports Program. Provide exercise and recreation programs to the student body through athletic competition including individual and team competitions. Promote fitness while maintaining a safe, organized, and competitive environment. Plan and implement intramural events and fitness classes for the overall Drew community.  Develop plans, timelines, staffing and space needs.  Hire, train and supervise student employees that will assist with intramural events. Create advertising and distribute promotional information regarding the intramural program and fitness classes to the student body and Drew community.  

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:2 years' related experience in facilities supervision, planning and implementing programs or events or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:CPR and First Aid Training preferred. Certification can be provided. Strong interpersonal/motivational skills. Strong customer service skills.
