    Drew University is seeking a STUDENT EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST in the Enrollment Management Department.

    The Student Employment Specialist will oversee the on-campus student employment program at Drew University. This is a full-time 12-month position and will report to the Dean of Enrollment Management to assist in the management of student employment.

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Primary Liaison supporting student employment functions within Student Financial Services, Human Resources, and Payroll; 
    • Manage the federal community service program;
    • Assist Dean of Enrollment in managing the Student Employment budget;
    • Responsible for student employment communications;
    • Coordinate the student employee recruitment and on-boarding process;
    • Coordinate student employee and supervisor training;
    • Execute the student employment policies and processes for the University; 
    • Assist the student employment team with coordination of the student employee evaluation process.

     REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • At least 2-3 years experience in Human Resources and Payroll 
    • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Financial Aid and Federal Work Study programs with an understanding of international student visas
    • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in training implementation
    • Exemplary attention to detail and time management skills required
    • Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Excel in particular, required
    • Experience with Ellucian Banner or another SIS preferred
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
