Drew University is seeking a Coordinator & Generalist for the University Advancement office. Reporting to the AVP for University Advancement, this is an integral team member serving as the coordinator for a variety of Advancement areas. This role is dynamic, responsive, and proactive in supporting a variety of departmental administrative needs, programs, and constituent inquiries. This position is primarily administrative and event-focused in nature. It is part-time (21 hours per week) and operates predominantly on a remote basis, with campus visits to staff and manage events required, which may include occasional evening and/or weekend events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
ADMINISTRATIVE
RECORD KEEPING AND DATA ENTRY
Support Advancement Services and Prospect Research in managing data entry in the Advancement CRM, Raiser's Edge (RE)
Add media to RE constituent records (confidentiality agreements, stewardship reports, obituaries, etc.)
As needed, assist fundraising staff in adding media, reports, actions and notes to RE, to reflect interactions with constituents
EVENTS MANAGEMENT
ADVANCEMENT LIAISON

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
● 3+ years of experience in administrative roles, preferably in Higher Education
● Experience working with CRMs, ideally Raiser’s Edge
● Must possess a growth and entrepreneurial mindset with a nimble and flexible attitude
● Expertise with Google’s G Suite and Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint
● Experience in a fast-paced, detail-oriented office setting
● Superb organization and project management skills
● Track record of confidentiality and discretion
● Strong interpersonal and intrapersonal skills. Must be an active listener and open-minded collaborator
