    PROJECT DESCRIPTION

    DRT provides IT Project Management and business analysis support services across the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) The team supports IT operations and projects that are aimed at providing processes and tools for preparedness and response efforts. DRT has an overarching goal to help support CDC goals and objectives and successful development implementation of the SharePoint solutions to for internal and external users.

    JOB SUMMARY

    Work collaboratively with the government to help to deliver SharePoint solutions to the government and their stakeholders. Candidate will collaborate with CDC technical and non-technical leadership to create SharePoint solutions that meet customer needs and adhere to CDC established performance and security standards.

    JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Designs and improves SharePoint sites, navigation, and user-interface
    • Provide SharePoint administrative tasks and maintain site collections as directed by the customer
    • Investigates, analyzes, and resolves system problems, including workflow issues.
    • Provides daily administration and maintenance of SharePoint sites including updating content.
    • Manages and responds to change requests; tracks projects and tasks through the software development life cycle
    • Works closely with our CDC stakeholders to gather requirements and develop new functionality.
    • Able to conduct detailed requirements analysis and document functional specifications

    Serve as a resource for the web content management system, helping provide on functionality and usability.

    Provides training and end-user support regarding SharePoint and other applications

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as SharePoint Developer
    • Strong understanding of Microsoft SharePoint architecture
    • Experience using InfoPath, Nintex Forms and Workflows
    • Experience designing, developing and testing solutions with SharePoint 2010 and 365
    • Use SharePoint development best practices, maximizing out of the box functionality where possible, to design maintainable workflows for automated routing, notification, and complex organizational processes
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload based on needs of the client
    • Ability to deal with ambiguity and frequent changes in priorities
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills

    Preferred Experience

    • Experience supporting SharePoint development projects for the CDC

    EDUCATION AND TRAINING

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred
