    About Xpress Distributors Xpress Distributors is a Tampa-based direct store delivery beverage distributor servicing C-stores, bodegas, grocery stores, and supermarkets across the greater Tampa Bay area. We operate a growing route network and are looking to scale aggressively by adding accounts, tightening operations, and building a high-performing sales team on the ground.

    The Role We are looking for an experienced DSD Sales Manager to take ownership of our route operations and sales team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows the Tampa market, understands how DSD distribution works from the ground up, and is ready to grow a route network from 5 to 10 active routes into something significantly larger. You will manage the day-to-day sales team, own new account development, and be accountable for revenue growth across the territory. You report directly to ownership.

    What You Will Do

    Oversee daily route operations and ensure consistent, on-time delivery and in-store execution across all active accounts

    Manage, coach, and hold accountable a team of route sales representatives

    Prospect and open new C-store, bodega, grocery, and supermarket accounts across the Tampa Bay area

    Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers, buyers, and owners at existing accounts

    Identify opportunities to increase SKU placement, shelf space, and cold vault presence at current accounts

    Monitor route profitability, account performance, and sales data to drive decision-making

    Coordinate with suppliers and internal operations on inventory, pricing, and product availability

    Report directly to ownership on sales performance, route health, and growth opportunities

    What We Are Looking For

    3+ years of DSD distribution or route sales experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role

    Strong knowledge of the Tampa Bay market and existing relationships with local retailers preferred

    Experience managing a route sales team and holding reps accountable to daily execution standards

    Track record of opening new accounts and growing revenue within a defined territory

    Beverage distribution experience required — familiarity with C-store and grocery account management

    Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, lean environment

    Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

    Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus given the Tampa market

    Compensation and Benefits

    Base Salary: $80,000 to $95,000 depending on experience

    Commission: Performance-based on new account growth and revenue targets

    Bonus: Route expansion and annual performance bonuses
