    Job Description

    DESCRIPTION

    DSI has an immediate need for a Commercial Channel Manager. This position is a work from home, account management, business-to-business (B2B) sales position with some travel required.

    The Commercial Channel Manager (CCM) is responsible for driving DIRECTV subscribers by working with dealer partners in their respective region. The role will require strong communication, elite problem solving skills, relationship building, and the ability to drive sales working with all types of business partners.

    This candidate should be located in the Western US.

     

    ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Prospect businesses to identify new partners interested in adding DIRECTV to their portfolio of products being sold

    · Identify, develop and manage a database of potential and existing customers in assigned territory.

    · Work as a team with vendor partners to strategize best practices to grow the territory

    · Manage existing portfolio of dealers in your region, helping:

    o Drive new sales

    o Keep DIRECTV top-of-mind and at the forefront of every customer interaction

    o Provide training on new offers and promotions

    o Handle escalations

    o Launch marketing programs

    o Provide sales support and guidance

    · Travel 20-50% of the time within assigned territory, meeting with key customers, new potential clients, and attending vendor/internal meetings

    · Supporting dealers across DIRECTV Commercial, Lodging & Institution and MDU verticals

     

    REQUIREMENTS

    · Previous sales experience is required with a strong background and proven track record in prospecting, recruiting, training and onboarding.

    · Strong self-management; being able to wake up every day ready to make a difference and work hard.

    · Strong organization skills, being able to review large amounts of data to identify trends and opportunities

    · Be able to approach customers from a ‘consultative position’ with the ability to have high level discussions with business owners and leadership including discussing financials, cash-flow, marketing, and sales strategies with independent business owners.

    · Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

    · Previous experience in Telecommunications is preferred

    · Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus!
