About the Role:

ACMA Homecare Inc is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Minneapolis, MN. Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with disabilities in a home environment

Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, bathing, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)

Support clients with meal preparation, medication reminders, and household tasks

Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately

Transport and accompany clients to appointments, community activities, and errands

Foster independence and community inclusion through skill-building activities

Communicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and care team members

Requirements:

Prior experience as a DSP, caregiver, home health aide, or in a related field preferred

Genuine compassion, patience, and respect for individuals with disabilities

Ability to pass a background check as required by Minnesota state regulations

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Strong communication and documentation skills

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
