Job Summary

We are specifically looking for a Vietnamese speaking worker who is fluent in both Vietnamese and English. The ideal candidate will be able to prepare a variety of Asian-style meals, assist with light housekeeping tasks, and support community outings. This role requires a compassionate and reliable individual who can help maintain comfort, safety, and cultural familiarity while encouraging independence and engagement.

Responsibilities

Provide communication support in both Vietnamese and English

Prepare culturally familiar Asian-style meals

Assist with light housekeeping, including cleaning, organizing, and laundry

Support the individual during community outings, appointments, and activities

Promote safety, comfort, and independence at home and in the community

Offer companionship and culturally appropriate engagement

Follow care instructions and maintain clear communication with the care team

Ensure a respectful, patient, and professional approach at all times

Qualifications

Must be Vietnamese-speaking; bilingual in Vietnamese and English required

Experience in caregiving, home care, or a related field preferred

Ability to prepare Asian-style meals and follow dietary preferences

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to assist with light housekeeping and community activities

Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation preferred

Ability to maintain professionalism, patience, and cultural sensitivity
