Job Summary

We are looking for a Direct Support Professional to join our team! You will be directly working with a male client, following a one-on-one care plan in his home. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets the client's needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role. Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist client with daily activities such as moving in and out of the bed and or vehicle.

Provide support to client by helping with personal hygiene, bathroom assistance, and eating

Build relationships with the client by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert

Engage client in walking exercises and other activities

Integrate client into the community

Qualifications

Driver’s license required

Having a vehicle

First Aid & CPR certification required
