**AHRC New York City is seeking Full and Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for their Adult Day Programs in All Five Boroughs . **

Full-time Positions ** _ Schedul_ e: Monday - Friday 8:30am -3:30pm (35 hours per week).**

Pay rate: $18 per hour plus a very generous and comprehensive Benefit packet. See additional Benefit information below.

In addition, the following Bonuses are available depending on the Programs needs.

• $2,000 annually upon completion and passing of AHRC Defensive Driving class
• $2,000 annually upon completion of AMAP training

** _ Part-Time Positions Schedule_ : Monday - Friday 8:30am -2:30pm (30 hours per week).**

Pay Rate : $20 per hour....no Benefits!

Responsibilities:

• Support individuals with disabilities in leading self-directed lives and becoming active members of their communities.
• The oversight of all safety and health considerations
• Promoting skill development, interests, and hobbies
• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)

Qualifications

• Personal and/or Professional experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of Home and Community Based Waiver, and the ability to keep up to date pertaining to such knowledge, and interpret same.
• Understanding of Person Centered Planning.
• Reasonable flexibility in work hours and ability to respond to the scheduling needs of the individual.
• Ability to establish and maintain a working relationship with program participants, families, staff and community agencies.
• Ability to communicate both orally and in written form in English.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
