    Job Description

     

    We are looking for a competitive Sales Representative to develop sales strategies and attract new clients. The successful salesperson will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services. As an outside sales representative, or sales agent, they will also research sales competition.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
    • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
    • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
    • Reach out to customer leads using various customer sales methods (door-to-door, cold calling, presentations etc)
    • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
    • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
    • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
    • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
    • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
    • Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
    • Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long lasting relationships
    • Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
    • Attend meeting, sales events and training to keep abreast of the latest developments
    • Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data
    • Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory
    • Continuously improve through feedback

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Proven work experience as a sales representative
    • Track record of over-achieving quota
    • Experience selling Engineering Design Fabrication and Assembly a plus!!
    • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
    • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and other computer programs.
    • Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
    • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
    • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
    • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
    • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
    • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
    • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
    • Self motivated and driven
    • BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred
