Job Description

Our Writing Intern will primarily be responsible for writing copy for websites, emails, advertisements, and more. Our intern will also work closely with our marketing strategists, learning to write in conjunction with a marketing strategy. Additionally, our intern will conduct online and offline research — focusing on content, strategy, and audience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Copywriting
• Proofreading
• Assisting with adding, formatting, and launching blogs
• Conducting online and offline research for timely topics and SEO keywords
• Participating in creative workshops and scrums

SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:

• Self-Starting go-getter
• High attention to detail
• Proficient with Google Suite
• Mastery of English grammar – AP style comprehension a big plus
• A passionate writer with a portfolio of work demonstrating your ability to tell a compelling story
• Prior knowledge of writing for an SEO strategy is a plus

Qualifications

• College Junior year or higher education level
• Portfolio of writing work

EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION

• Compensation: $10 per hour
• Benefits: None
• Hours: 20 hours per week (flexible)
• Term: January to April 2019 (flexible)
