With limited spots on our roster, we take every hire we make very seriously.The MBA Summer Intern will support an important project for DVx or one of our portfolio ventures. The Summer Associate Intern will report to a project sponsor and be responsible for delivering against internship deliverables. We will be hiring 2 interns for Summer 2022. One Associate intern will work with Loop (), developing its Social Impact Strategy and Geographic and Category Expansion playbooks. The other intern will work on our Co-Build program. This Associate intern will work on deal diligence, developing the program model, and marketing.This is a compensated, full time position. The internship will be structured as a 10-week program with potential to extend based on performance & need, to be conducted during the summer break. Strong performers will be considered for full-time roles.Responsibilities & DeliverablesConduct diligence evaluations on potential investments and new business ideasExplore potential technical and business model solutions to consumer frictions within target verticals through expert interviews, market research, and consumer surveysDevelop the investment case for business conceptsPartner closely with portfolio companies on projects to support their ability to rapidly scale, especially on topics of commercialization and business strategyQualificationsCurrent MBA candidate in a top tier programPrior professional experience in investing, management consulting, or design strategy / UX researchPractical problem solving mindset - uses a structured approach to identify, correctly frame and analyze to the essential, actionable insightsProven track record of success with demonstrated world-class outcomesEffective communicator (both verbal and written); comfortable in executive-level business discussions and decision-making forums.Willing to take appropriate risk (have done so and can show it, have experienced failure)Agile - have shown impact in high growth environments with rapidly changing directionHumble and hungry in the face of ambiguity - able to create your own contextWilling to roll up sleeves and do the hard workScrappy and creative in pursuit of a solutionBe fun to work withDVx Ventures is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer that proudly pursues and hires a diverse workforce.
