    DESCRIPTION

    The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for managing all in-bound leads, sales inquiries and making outbound calls to meet or exceed stated sales pipeline and revenue objectives. The Inside Sales Representative is an expert on all DYL products and solutions and can effectively speak to and demonstrate the benefits and features to close sales opportunities. 

    The primary objective is to contact target companies, regularly, and to meet quarterly and annual sales targets.

    This role reports to the Head of Sales. Compensation will include a base salary and commissions, ($40k - $50k base, plus 10% - 15% commissions) as outlined in the commission plan. This position is non-exempt (this will depend on base salary) and is located in Culver City, CA.

    JOB DUTIES (INCLUDE, HOWEVER, ARE NOT LIMITED TO)

    • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue objectives and sales metrics, including sales activity volumes, pipeline growth and others as outlined by management.
    • Generate NEW Business for DYL
    • Seek opportunities for potential clients; respond to leads through emails and phone calls; and actively sell all DYL products and services. 
    • Demonstrate DYL benefits and features during web sessions with prospects.
    • Demonstrate knowledge of DYL's value proposition, which is used to generate prospect interest during calls and in emails.
    • Become a subject matter expert on all DYL products and services, understand pricing, terms and basic contracts and effectively conduct pricing negotiations. 
    • Keep abreast of client's needs and align sales conversations with their objectives to make and close a sale. 
    • Create contracts and statements of work for review and approval by management.
    • Keep current on all sales- related activities, leads and capture required customer data in DYL (or other CRM) and other systems. 
    • Partner and collaborate with business stakeholders and the Sales team on projects and initiatives.
    • Strive to at all times to act in a professional manner when representing DYL. 
    • Quarterly build a GOSPA (Goals, Objectives, Strategies, Plans and Activities) plan to outline quarterly targets and how objectives will be met.
    • Utilizes good business acumen that supports the ongoing goals and objectives of DYL

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 4-year college degree is preferred
    • 1-3 years of experience selling technology solutions over the phone
    • Proven track record meeting or exceeding quarterly revenue targets and metrics
    • Ability to multitask
    • Good project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
    • Acts professionally at all times

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suites is a plus
    • Knowledge of technology solutions including (examples) LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM is a plus

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS/EQUIPMENT 

    These are the physical demands and work equipment used for this position:

    The employee will constantly hear, talk and use near and far peripheral vision. Frequently, the employee is required to talk, sit, twist/turn, use hands and fingers.  On occasion, the employee will be reaching, walking, climbing stairs, bending and grasping. Rarely will the employee push/pull, squat, lift/carry 10+ pounds. The employee will be expected to be on the phone a minimum of 6 hours per day, making calls and providing demonstrations via the web.

    This job operates in a professional office environment and uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, filing cabinets, photocopiers and fax.
