    Job Summary: 

    As our Product Manager, you will be responsible for the product roadmap. You'll need to be a specialist on the competitive landscape, and find areas of opportunity while communicating necessary and relevant information with the Design, Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Support teams to successfully deliver premium features to business organizations. 

    From helping us segment and validate customer needs, to proposing initial concepts, to ensuring we ship high-quality, highly usable features, you'll be responsible for making and iterating on the products that have a chance to make the market. You will contribute to all aspects of product ideation, design, and execution, including understanding the complex needs of our users, ideating, designing, and pitching new features (visual design, interaction design, and prototyping), recruiting customers for customer development and usability testing, and developing positioning and go-to-market hypothesis. You will be responsible for setting the vision, strategy, and roadmap for teams to translate the raw insights we have about business organization and optimize features to create efficiency within the DYL Platform. 

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

    • Develop the product vision, roadmap, success criteria/prioritization framework and create consensus with key internal partners. Distill business needs into crisp, actionable product requirements for engineering team review.
    • Identify market opportunities and drive product strategy, roadmap, and feature decisions.
    • Drive all aspects of the product, from partnership relationships to product design, to feature development. 
    • Write clear and concise product requirements that capture the vision, goals, and key elements of new products and features.
    • Working with software engineering to implement systems, test, and deploy systems – reviewing architecture as needed to ensure program goals are met
    • Own product backlog, define high-level initiatives, acceptance criteria, success metrics, build epics and stories with clear requirements.
    • Writing engineering analysis and recommendations to stakeholders, then flipping the script and explaining product trade offs to engineers, all the while keeping scale and long term viability in mind with trade offs for faster execution
    • Manage delivery of current products/features, define and measure success and effectively communicate results to both tech and non-tech stakeholders
    • Actively drive idea/brainstorming sessions with stakeholders, providing guidance, best practices, and feasibility information to the discussion 
    • Become the subject matter expert in all things related to DYL Platform

    You should: 

    • Have at least 3-5 years of experience building and shipping technology products at scale
    • Have 2 + years of experience at a SaaS B2B product company 
    • Proficient user of G-suite apps, JIRA,Confluence and Process Workflow tools (Visio, Lucidchart)
    • Fundamentally analytical and technical; you have the ability to collect and analyze data from a variety of sources, identify key insights, spot optimization opportunities, and inform product decisions.
    • Expert communication skills, including the ability to persuade and inspire, a knack for breaking down complex technical concepts, and a proactive attitude towards knowledge sharing
    • Familiarity with Project Management principles
    • Extensive go to market strategy & planning experience
    • Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical approach and a strong agile mindset
    • PMP, PMI-ACP, and/or CSM Certification a plus
