    Interprofessional Simulation Program Coordinator

    Reports to: Director of Interprofessional Education and Simulation

    Position Summary :

    The Program Coordinator will work Part-Time for providing administrative and logistical support for the Interprofessional Education and Simulation Center (IPESC) at D’Youville University.

    Administration Qualifications :

    • Equivalent experience to a Bachelor’s or higher from an accredited college or university

    • Computer Literacy (word processing, mail merges, spreadsheets, database management, cloud-based platforms, Microsoft tools)

    • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented

    • Strong interpersonal communication skills

    • Ability to utilize various software programs

    • Simulation experience desirable

    • Willingness to learn audio-visual recording and playback functions

    • Willingness to become a Master trainer in TeamSTEPPS

    Responsibilities :

    The program coordinator, in conjunction with the Simulation Center Director, shall:

    • Assist in the coordination and scheduling of programs, experiential learning, interprofessional education (IPE) and simulation training in 25Live and IIPESC calendars.

    • Manage all partner scheduling for simulation center activities and events (Actors, Work Studies, Grad Assistants, Students, Faculty, and Community Associates).

    • Assist the Center Director in business planning, market research, promotion of the Sim Center, development of business opportunities, preparation of the budget, procurement planning, schedule planning.

    • Provide administrative support for research endeavors of data collection and manuscript preparation, IPE tools and certification or accreditation materials.

    • Provide other administrative support for the Director and IPESC staff as needed, including a flexible work schedule.
