    Job Description

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    DZYNE Technologies is seeking a professional with experience working directly with complex networks in a team-oriented environment. This will be a wide-ranging role which will allow the candidate to gain a diverse amount of experience ranging from working closely with customers to gathering requirements, evaluating systems from the user’s perspective, software testing, documentation, gaining more technical experience including designing networks and working with a team on an enterprise-class project.

     

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related discipline or 4 years of experience; may consider an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree
    • Basic understanding of IPv4 address planning, encapsulation techniques, switching, routing, and higher level service and application protocols
    • A professional certification specific to the networking industry, such as CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, JNCIA/JNCIE, or equivalent
    • Familiar with the basic concepts of NAT, as it relates to inside and outside interfaces
    • Experience with HAIPE/TACLANE and other military COMSEC/CRYPTO equipment and procedures
    • Experience with virtual machines
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD clearance
    • DoD IT experience

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Familiarity with network device configurations and troubleshooting (ideally, Cisco IOS/IOS-XE)
    • Ability to communicate well, including proficiency with MS Office tools
    • To be considered, must be an US Citizen with existing or recent Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance
    • Experience in DoD C2 systems; wired and wireless sensor network integration from the enterprise to tactical level
    • A professional certification specific to the networking industry, such as CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, JNCIA/JNCIE, or equivalent
    • Familiar with network management applications, such as WhatsUpGold, Splunk, Solarwinds, and/or Cisco ISE
    • Familiar with the basic concepts of NAT, as it relates to inside and outside interfaces
    • Experience with HAIPE/TACLANE and other military COMSEC/CRYPTO equipment and procedures
    • Experience with tactical/military radio networks, to include Satellite Communications Systems
    • Experience with Cisco Unified Communications / VoIP and VTC
    • Experience with dynamic routing protocols, such as OSPF, RIPv2, or BGP
    • Exposure to the Risk Management Framework, associated security controls, and STIGs
    • Familiarity with network device configurations and troubleshooting (ideally, Cisco IOS/IOS-XE)
    • Familiar with network management protocols, to include NTP, SNMP, SSH, Syslog, and RADIUS/TACACS
    • Ability to communicate well, including proficiency with MS Office tools, specifically PowerPoint and Visio
    • Active DoD Secret Clearance within the last 5 years or Active DoD Top Secret Clearance

     

     

    TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    • Degree and typical experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineer: 2-4 Years with Bachelors of Science (engineering degree preferred) 8 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

    SECURITY CLEARANCE PREREQUISITES

    • US Citizenship Required
    • Secret Clearance Needed
