** Position Overview:**
The Outside Sales Champion is central to our new business acquisition strategy. The role demands a professional who is adept at navigating competitive sales environments, takes initiative, and has a knack for recognizing and capitalizing on business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Proactively identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities, leveraging support from our Inside Sales Team, networking events, and referrals.
2. Formulate and execute sales strategies to augment sales growth within the Mid-West market.
3. Deliver accurate sales forecasts in a timely manner.
4. Consistently achieve or surpass quarterly and annual sales targets.
5. Stay updated with comprehensive knowledge of our products, services, and competitors.
6. Cultivate and nurture positive business relationships to facilitate future sales.
7. Engage in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and acquire new business leads.
8. Provide constructive feedback to the senior management regarding sales metrics and strategic directions.
** Qualifications:**
1. Demonstrated success in outside sales roles, preferably targeting small to medium-sized organizations (30-200 employees).
2. A proven history of meeting and surpassing sales objectives.
3. Acute negotiation skills with a deep understanding of client needs.
4. Proficiency in the Sandler Sales process.
5. Exceptional interpersonal and communication capabilities.
6. Self-motivation and a results-oriented mindset.
7. Adaptability to thrive in dynamic, competitive settings.
8. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferable.
