The position of Teacher Floater reports to the center DirectorResponsibilities
Be reliable & Punctual for your scheduled shift each day
Work closely with the Director on various tasks
Meet & Maintain all licensing requirements
Step into lead classrooms when teachers are out
Help clean the center
Support classrooms when needed
Perform daily duties assigned
Attend monthly staff meetings
Attend training or workshops for ECE
Report any suspected abuse or neglect
Maintain a healthy & safe environment
When appropriate communication with parents
Maintain confidentiality
Give breaks to other staff
Work as a team to meet the needs of the classrooms and center as a whole communicating with parents about their child's development and daily routine
Requirements:
Teaching experience with the infant to school-age children (Preferred)
Negative Tuberculosis test
Cleared Merit Background Check
Blood Borne Pathogens
High school diploma or Equivalent
Have a passion for working with children
CPR/First Aid certification
Complete DCYF training
Pass a Merit Background check
Negative Tuberculosis Test
Proof of MMR Vaccination
Food Handlers Card
