    DMW is in search of an accomplished Civil Engineer to join our team in Towson, MD. The successful applicant will have the responsibility of designing, creating, and administering civil engineering tasks for land development projects. Exceptional technical and analytical capabilities, as well as a great deal of ingenuity, are important attributes. Responsibilities: • Responsible for daily management, operations, coordination, and overall integration of technical project activities. • Directs, reviews, and approves project changes. • Develops and manages project budgets. • Leads quality assurances and plan checking procedures as well as troubleshooting any project issues. • Collaborates and coordinates with clients, management, other departments, and regulatory agencies to obtain approvals and permits ensuring client project objectives and budgets are met. • Active participant in professional organizations to promote the organization. • Identify additional service opportunities within current projects and identify future projects based on client needs/future plans. • Supervises and guides staff to support a collaborative and learning work environment. • Assist in the development of and ensure adherence to policies, standards, and procedures for work. Qualifications: • BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent • Maryland Professional Engineer license • 5+ years of design experience in land development, civil engineering, landscape architecture, and/or project management • Proficient in local jurisdiction infrastructure design standards and approval process • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving abilities • Basic CAD software experience and Civil 3D software knowledge • Basic business and financial acumen with budgeting and design experience Compensation: $95,000 - $105,000 yearly
