The Daily Wire is looking to add a Production Show Intern to the team! The Production Show Intern will support the Producer and Production team with show prep, research, fact-checking, and other supportive tasks as needed to aid in the overall goal of producing the highest-quality show in the most efficient manner possible. The ideal candidate will have sharp communication skills, strong attention to detail, and experience in Production and/or Editorial.

Please note that this is a 3-month internship, with the possibility to extend.

Responsibilities :

• Perform fact-checking duties
• Assist with show prep
• Research topics as assigned
• Perform proof-reading duties, checking for grammar and spelling
• Assist supervisor with various tasks as needed
• Complete and submit daily project logs
• Interact with clients and team members in a positive, productive, and respectful manner
• Anticipate needs and take initiative to keep operations running smoothly
• Perform other duties as assigned

Experience & Requirements:

• Interest in Production and/or Editorial strongly preferred
• Willingness and eagerness to receive feedback and direction and use it in a constructive way
• Self-motivated and comfortable taking initiative and speaking up
• Strong research and analysis skills
• Strong proof-reading skills; ability to accurately check for grammar and spelling
• A dedication to presenting the facts and placing the truth above personal interests, beliefs, etc.
• Knowledge of the political editorial landscape and of the audience of the Daily Wire publication
• G-suite proficiency
