    RECRUITING COORDINATOR NEEDED

    The Daily Wire is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to join our team. The Recruiting Coordinator will assist the Human Resources department, and primarily the on-staff Recruiters, with administrative and supportive tasks related to full-cycle recruiting and on-boarding, as well as owning and managing some recruiting related projects of their own and contributing to the overall recruiting strategies and goals of the company.

    RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    Assist Recruiters with filling open internship positions

    • Review applicants
    • Identify strongest candidates
    • Coordinate interviews

    Contribute to Daily Wire's campus recruiting efforts

    • Help attract top talent from local and national programs

    • Connect with programs

    • Book recruiting events

    • Conduct reference checks on candidates

    • Conduct background checks on new hires

    • Assist with building a competitive internship/externship program

    • Help review and organize resumes for various open positions as needed

    • Assist with posting ads to job boards and managing/rotating ads

    • Function as primary point-of-contact to candidates who fly to Nashville to interview

    • Book travel including flight, hotel, and car service

    • Organize consolidated travel itinerary for candidates

    • Greet visiting candidates and give office tours

    • Coordinate with Finance to assist with candidate reimbursements

    • Assist in hosting monthly new hire orientation sessions

    • Fill in for HR Assistant in leading weekly new hire on-boarding sessions as needed

    • Assist in developing Daily Wire's ‘90-Day Program' to ensure all new hires are prepared and contributing positively in their first 90 days

    • Maintain Daily Wire's 45-day employee review spreadsheet and alert HR team of at-risk hires

    • Assist with updating content on Employee Intranet (HUB)

    • Help maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files, records, and documentation

    • Perform other duties as assigned

     

    EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

    • Previous HR experience in strongly preferred
    • Outstanding organizational skills
    • Highly detail-oriented
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to stay calm and work comfortably while under pressure
    • Self-starter with a “lean forward” attitude
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong Excel and Word skills
    • G-suite proficiency

    REPORTS TO: Director of Human Resources 

    START DATE: June 2022

    EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time; Non-Exempt

    COMPENSATION: $19 - $22 p/h DOE 

    BENEFITS: Health insurance options (medical through BCBS of TN; dental and vision through Guardian); Paid Time Off; 401k (5% match)
