    The Daily Wire seeks a Senior Vice President of Information Technology with extensive proficiencies in security, risk management, corporate communications, business continuity, and cybersecurity architecture to join our Technology organization in Nashville, Tennessee. The SVP of IT will be responsible for the governance and oversight of IT security and for optimizing business solutions. Qualified candidates have at least fifteen years of leadership experience in a similar role, and will thrive in fast-paced, hyper-growth work environments.

    A successful candidate for this role will be a strategic leader. You will create medium-term and long-term plans for our enterprise technology strategy, and will collaborate with other Technology functions to build and carry out a unified Technology roadmap. Assessing and addressing changes in the technology landscape is a matter of course for this position. You will readily identify critical factors for decision-making from the IT perspective, and will have positioned the IT group to respond nimbly to change. You will be able to anticipate emerging or potential conflicts for the business and take steps to pre-empt them with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to IT.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead our Information Technology functions, including strategic alignment and planning, governance, information management, solution delivery, service management, and day-to-day operations of our networks and storage infrastructure.
    • Partner with our head of Technology and other senior leadership to implement a purpose-built IT strategy, including a roadmap for current and future states that can scale with the company's unusually fast-paced growth. Support senior leaders with insight and direction on emerging technologies and support the company's key business objectives. Ensure data integrity and connectivity of our IT systems (enterprise-wide).
    • Be a close collaborator within the Technology organization, especially with our Director of Engineering, to plan and execute on a unified roadmap for Bentkey Technology. Focus on strategic alignment, solution delivery, and service management to enable the development and deployment of key Engineering infrastructure.
    • Help position the Technology organization to best serve our Marketing and Media Production teams. Procure, deploy, and maintain marketing technology services and media production services to keep key operational groups secure, efficient, and online.
    • Help to build and lead an internal team dedicated to the ongoing security and information systems needs of the business, especially via ongoing penetration testing and active security audits.
    • Help determine capital investment parameters and priorities. Evaluate risks for enterprise-wide IT initiatives to maximize our Technology investments. Collaborate with Technology leadership to control costs and provide oversight for the IT budget, inventory, and expenditures.

    EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

    • Nashville, TN -based position (working remotely is not an option)
    • 15+ years of responsible technology leadership roles
    • Transformation and scaling expertise
    • Functional leadership across multiple technology domains, including applications, infrastructure, data and analytics, and digital
    • Demonstrated leadership in building and scaling a technology organization
    • Experience with organizations in excess of 100+ employees
    • Robust experience in the business and operations of information technology, including business analysis and design, operations, fiscal efficiency, organizational development, change management, people leadership, and external vendor management
