Daily Wire's Marketing department is looking for a Social Media Content Coordinator to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee! The Social Media Content Coordinator will primarily focus on our YouTube and TikTok channels, working collaboratively to identify and distribute engaging video content to Daily Wire's social video platforms. This person needs a strong understanding of user experience and platform management principles, should excel working in a highly collaborative team environment, and has at least two years of previous professional experience in a similar role. A promising candidate will have in-depth knowledge and demonstrable skills in YouTube Studio and the TikTok platform, as well as required experience with each.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate content posting between our Daily Wire branded YouTube channels, TikTok, and Snapchat pages.
• Identify usable clips from existing content to repackage in a fresh, engaging way
• Create engaging titles and descriptions with the goal of boosting viewership and follower/subscriber growth while keeping brand safety in mind
• Ability to interpret analytics to determine what content is working and not working to adjust accordingly
• Knows how to upload and post YouTube videos, shorts, and community posts
• Basic understanding of YouTube Studio and how to use analytics to inform decisions

Experience & Requirements:

• Immersion in and full understanding of social media
• At least 1 year of professional experience with YouTube Studio
• 2+ years previous experience in comparable social media position
• Interest in and/or familiarity with the political and editorial news landscapes
• Strong instincts for successful social media content and engagement
• Ability to spot and capitalize on social media trends
• Deep understanding of YouTube and TikTok as social media platforms
• Excellent proof-reading skills
• Detail-oriented
• Experience with Premiere Pro CC is a plus
