The Daily Wire is looking for a Data Analyst to join our Product team! The Data Analyst of Daily Wire will play a key role in developing the data environment of the Daily Wire Product department and will be responsible for managing digital data, extracting actionable insights, and presenting it visually. He or she will help the Product department collect and measure that data accurately, as well as build and optimize reporting dashboards for leadership to make informed decisions that drive revenue and improve retention. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as the point person on the Daily Wire Product team for all aspects of The Daily Wire's data analysis and reporting
• Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, queries, and dashboards to inform key business decisions
• Work closely with product and marketing leadership to find data solutions to business problems related to our membership program, website experience, and user behavior
• Help measure data accurately and build and optimize reports to make smart decisions that drive revenue and improve retention
• Use SQL and data visualization tools to develop a scalable and efficient analytical environment and support a rapidly growing business
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, such as marketing, product engineering, and customer service teams to align reporting goals with company goals
• Look for opportunities to improve data infrastructure and reporting
• Perform other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

• In-house position in Nashville, TN 
• 2+ years of product data analytics experience in a similar industry required (e.g. subscription product, media streaming platform, eCommerce)
• Proficiency in Mixpanel, Snowflake, and/or Domo preferred; Google Analytics and Excel a plus
• Experience using, writing, and optimizing SQL queries in a business environment required
• Experience with A/B and multivariate testing analysis a plus
• Knowledge of data warehouse technical architecture, ETL, and reporting/analytics tools and environments a plus
• Interest in and/or familiarity with the political and editorial news landscapes a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical reasoning skills
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive working with a significant degree of autonomy

REPORTS TO: Director of Product

START DATE: Immediate

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time; Exempt

COMPENSATION: Dependent upon experience
