    The Daily Wire is searching for a Chief Marketing Officer to join our leadership team in Nashville, Tennessee!

    This person will play a vital role in accelerating The Daily Wire's growth. Adopting a “Marketing First” mindset in how our company plans, develops and executes strategic initiatives; the CMO's primary responsibility is to profitably grow the audience and convert that growing audience into The Daily Wire's membership program. 

    The Daily Wire moves at the speed of the internet and requires leaders that can build systems that are meant to be broken. This position demands impossible results 24/7.  

    This is an entrepreneurial role that requires constant innovation. The CMO must build a marketing team that can find new opportunities to grow the business every day.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:  

    • Lead the Daily Wire Marketing Department in achieving profitable growth in audience and members while improving the brand's reputation 
    • Build operational efficiencies throughout the marketing department that leads to cross functional organizational effectiveness (Marketing to Production, Marketing to Member Experience, Creative to Social, Creative to Paid, Marketing to Ad Sales, etc.)  
    • Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy and execute marketing plans, while effectively managing brand and reputational risk, to ensure the internal and external brand is optimally aligned with the company's strategic objectives 
    • Craft/Manufacture opportunities to grow the Daily Wire brand and subscriber base 
    • Bridge product launches with brand continuity and growth 
    • Develop, track, and report on the KPIs for the Marketing Department to the executive team 
    • Develop and foster a data driven culture that prioritizes work based on maximum possible impact 
    • Collaborate with leadership to define and develop quarterly and annual objectives and key results  
    • Perform other duties as assigned

     

      EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS: 

    • 10+ years previous experience in a similar role preferred 
    • Excellent people-leader skills, capable of driving results and consensus across teams 
    • Highly motivated and self-starting 
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills 
    • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced and high-energy work environment 
    • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to function independently
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities 
    • G-suite and MS Office proficiency

     

    Start date: Immediate

    Employment type: Full-time; Exempt

    Compensation: DOE
