The Daily Wire is looking for a new Producer to join our Production team in Nashville, TN! The Daily Wire Producer will oversee the creative and technical aspects of the productions assigned to him or her, following the direction and leadership of the Daily Wire Production Executives. Our ideal candidate for this opportunity is a seasoned production and entertainment professional with 5+ years similar experience in a nationally broadcast show and is passionate about the political news landscape. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Craft and execute the creative vision of the company for both established and new multi-camera studio shows
• Produce both established internationally recognized Talent and help recognize and establish new Talent
• Plan and execute shows in partnership with show hosts and executive producers
• Create hand cards and write scripts and teleprompter copy for hosts
• Source and produce all roll-in media elements for the show
• Direct Talent from a control room during live and live-to-tape productions
• Create show rundowns for crew
• Oversee weekly ad sales voiceovers and ad placements into the show
• Work with crew to create optimal shot setups and lighting design based on the content
• Oversee production, post-production, delivery of shows, breakouts for audio content, and additional material for social media
• Manage the Talent booking process
  • Interact with and direct celebrity and high-profile Talent
• Drive creative direction during content development, show prep, segment prep, graphic design, storyboarding, etc. for video and audio content
• Work directly with Editorial to execute creative notes on video and audio content
• Work with Production team to ensure quality and timely work
• Work with production management to establish manageable budgets and schedules for production delivery and asset creation
• Complete and submit daily project logs in accordance with Daily Wire Project Log Policy
• Perform other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

• Nashville, TN -based position (WORKING REMOTELY IS NOT AN OPTION)
• 5+ years of similar work experience in a nationally broadcast (linear, cable, web) show preferred
• Working knowledge of the current political landscape
• Avid follower of national news, politics, and cultural commentary across all media platform
• Working knowledge of video and sound editing
• Familiar with of all aspects of post-production for video and film
• Strong instinct for creative and storytelling
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• G-suite proficiency

REPORTS TO: Executive Vice President of Production

START DATE: Immediate

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time; Exempt

COMPENSATION: Dependent upon experience
