    Job Description

    As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for Dailymotion for Enterprise Video Solutions (DMFE), your primary responsibilities are to research, qualify and grow our client partnership leads pipeline across several business verticals and/or industries. You will be performing market research across several business verticals to qualify prospective companies, source leads for new clients, engage with the prospective clients, identify their potential needs for video solutions, confirm their interest and viability, and initiate a relationship that will help drive the sales process. The ideal candidate is an energetic, highly organized self-starter with the ability to identify prospective client opportunities and key decision makers and decision influencers. You will grow qualified opportunities by responding to inbound inquiries as well as targeting outbound prospects to initiate communication and build rapport towards establishing long-term relationships.

    You will work with a cross-functional team to successfully grow, upsell and maintain partnerships with those publishers and various businesses using Dailymotion for Enterprise video platform technology on their digital properties and assets.

    Responsibilities:

    • Reporting to and working with the VP, Business Development Americas and a cross-functional team you will successfully:
      • Research and prioritize prospective companies and clients based on an established set of criteria to distinguish highest value prospective business/industry verticals for our Enterprise video solution.
      • Leads prospecting: utilize LinkedIn, syndicated research, trade organizations, networking, Business conference attendance, and other means to identify, rank, prioritize and initiate communication with potential business development leads for Dailymotion for enterprise video solutions.
      • Maintain Salesforce.com database i.e., sales pipe/CRM management, logging activities and intelligence, update information, add contacts, and enter new accounts from your target list spanning multiple business verticals throughout the US and Canada.
      • Communicate the Dailymotion enterprise video solutions value proposition.
      • Partner with other DMFE Sales team members to generate new partnerships.
    • Maintain a relentless “on the pulse”-level of understanding of the enterprise video technology market’s competitive landscape through research and industry event participation.
    • Maintain an expert-level understanding of the Dailymotion video platform, products, and backend architecture in order to answer questions, identify and create solutions, and clearly communicate unique product selling points and benefits to enhance our prospective and existing partners’ businesses through a wide-ranging and creative use of video applications for both internal and external business needs and outcomes.
    • Effectively introduce and articulate Dailymotion’s value proposition for video player solutions with in-person meetings/presentations video-conferences, phone and email.
    • Own business and first technical communications with leading partner prospects, including demonstrations, answering questions, work within the team to ensure all RFPs and RFIs are developed and delivered to prospective clients on time.
    • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including team members in legal, engineering/development, product, marketing and finance to ensure long-term success.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Excellent written and verbal communicator is a baseline, absolute requirement. Spanish would be a solid +
    • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in SaaS solutions sales development and/or business development role with a leading SaaS company and/or product offering for Fortune 1000 clients.
    • Previous experience with a relevant enterprise video solutions company with a proven track record for lead generation is a significant +
    • Moderate, general technical knowledge concerning components of an enterprise video solution and desire to grow that into a significant expertise is required.
    • Ability to reach and develop relationships with executives across a diverse set of key businesses and product verticals and generate video technology solutions for their business issues and needs.
    • Ability to work independently while meaningfully contributing to the productivity and culture of a close-knit team.
    • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task
    • Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, Word is required as well as proficiency in Salesforce, JIRA
    • Ability to work in an international, multi-time zone environment and across multiple departments (legal, IT, finance, engineering, support, etc)
