    The FINANCIAL ANALYST II provides reporting and financial analysis support for HCS and Distributors.

     

    SUMMARY:

    • Monitors account activity to determine required expense reclasses.
    • Prepares monthly reports as required.
    • Prepares and publishes several financial analysis reports such as overtime and productivity.
    • Analyzes and reports on various expense activity.
    • Prepares monthly analysis for various P&L statements.
    • Provides input to budgets and period forecasts related to assigned areas as requested.
    • Prepares ad-hoc reports and analysis as required.
    • Assists in the monthly/quarterly calculation of commissions and/or bonuses.
    • Assists in the calculation and accrual of customer rebates.
    • Assists in monthly financial close as needed.
    • Participates in the annual plan preparation.
    • Performs other related duties as required

     

    EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Advanced degree or professional certification a plus but not required.
    • 1 – 3 years’ experience in accounting or finance-related position.
    • Strong to advanced Access and Excel skills. Ability to manage and complete multiple projects on schedule with a high degree of accuracy. Must be able to communicate effectively with peers and workers in many areas outside Finance. Must be willing to complete both recurring monthly reporting and ad hoc projects. Practical knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) and Sarbanes-Oxley.
