OUTSIDE SALES ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE

We are seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales Account Executive with excellent communication and presentation skills to join our team. This position will partner with marketing and sales and drive lead generation, appointment setting, lead qualification and sales support to the Sales team. The position is located in our Frederick, MD office, however you are required to travel around Maryland to meet with customers. Remote work is also available.

This position requires heavy outbound phone calling, customer visits, consultative selling skills, follow-up and tight collaboration with the management team to generate new clients and maintain the existing customer base.

Typical work hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. All candidates must pass a comprehensive criminal background check, as well as a drug screening. Position is base salary plus commission. Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan.

REQUIRED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Prospecting and customer visits

· Meet or exceed monthly sales objectives

· Solution selling

· Provide customers with the highest standard of customer service

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· Public sector experience is preferred (State, Local Government, and Education)

· Experience selling IT solutions including hardware, software and services

· Minimum of 2 years professional experience required

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is preferred

· Dynamic and highly motivated

· The ability to seek, establish, and maintain client relationships
